Diné Pride is pleased to announce our 2021 Indigenous Art Showcase: Hozhó & Our Matriarchs. The virtual exhibit features select works by 2SLGBTQ+ artists whose work celebrates beauty, balance, and being within the Diné way of life.

It is our intent to provide an inclusive space to support and activate the aesthetic and politic found in both art and life. Moreover, Diné Pride 2021 acknowledges the lifelong work of our Navajo matriarchs and the Indigenous women who uplift our Sovereign Nations.

Navajo Nation Pride is honoring & celebrating our LGBTQ+ relatives & reaffirming the sacredness of their heritage. There are many social disparities that affect our community & our Pride event hopes to reintroduce Navajo teachings that kept our LGBTQ+ relatives safe & revered - the way our culture recognized at one point in history.
